Our clinical staff are all employees of Focus CMS, not contracted personnel; medical case managers are registered nurses and physical therapists who have passed the following requirements:
Professional licensure verification
Criminal background screening
Drug Screening testing
Dept of Motor Vehicle check for safe driving record
Personal reference checks
3 month probationary period with extensive orientation
Training and signed Agreement for FCMS Compliance Program for ethical practice, fraud and abuse prevention and standards of employee conduct
CPR certification
Additionally, once the employee passes his/her orientation period, our clinical supervision in the field is ongoing to provide oversight for the quality of medical case management services at all times.
