Perform clinical and safety assessments
Develop and implement an individualized plan of
recovery
Assist the injured worker to understand the medical
condition and treatment options
Ensure that the injured worker has active participation
in his/her plan of recovery
Attend physician appointments to ensure full
implementation of the plan of recovery
Educate the physician on regulations, restrictions,
availability of modified work, apportionment issues,
required processes, and other issues related to the
