At its core, the worker’s compensation claim is a medical intervention to restore the health of an injured worker. If attention is not devoted foremost to the medical care, the claim can not be resolved in the most satisfactory manner. Poor results could be wasted dollars or an unhappy injured worker maintaining an attorney, or an unfortunate employer who must operate short staffed for extended periods of time.

Focus CMS moves quickly and assertively to manage the medical case with our benchmark outcomes geared towards accountability to our customers. We give our outcomes to each client at least quarterly (or monthly, if requested) to demonstrate our results.

• Expeditious movement from Temporary Total Disability to Usual and Customary Job Duties
• Short duration of medical case management services measured from start to close of our services with excellent case results
• Judicious use of rehab visits through clinical oversight
• Reduction of loss work days through effective management of physician appointment scheduling

We do not “prove” our worth by elaborating on medical cost savings that do not have a standard benchmark or are based upon subjective cost comparisons for needed treatments or services.

We hold ourselves accountable for demonstrable medical improvements of the injured worker such that he/she is now able to return to work. All other results are secondary to this.
